Loving this idea. Little Printer.

"Little Printer: a palm-sized, cube-shaped, cloud-powered thermal printer with an adorable pair of feet and a cute face. And what does it print? A personalized mini-newspaper--with content curated from partners like The Guardian, social media like Foursquare and Facebook, as well as stuff created by BERG itself--and output on a receipt-like paper strip no longer than 10 inches."

Really liking the concept of making your mobile world tangible. Though some may argue that paper is the past, this little guy may have the effect of bringing us out of our iPhone induced black holes and reconnect us with the physical world. Or...something like that.

Designed by Lucie Koldová of the studio Process, these 'Cheeky Boxes' are some brilliant modular work. Loving the middle line that is created when set up like a simple book shelf, and loving the subtle changes of color in each individual unit. Well done Process.

Things that are cute and clever

Whoa! Currently, I'm working on a Kickstarter video that will include some stop motion pieces. If only what we come up with could look half as good as this little gem! Produced by Steven Briand and Luca Fiore as part of an internship with Partizan.

Beautiful phone concept from Nokia. I don't know, I think I'd be down with it. Super sci-fi looking, but pretty on point with what I enjoy about my iPhone. Make it happen, guys!

Another beautiful short from Made By Hand. "It just takes buckets of blood, and sweat, and fucking work to get there..."

Wow. After my last post about Feast RVA, I can't believe how on point this talk is by Justin Gignac. Everything he says is exactly how I'm trying to live my life! Ahhh! So inspiring!

Feast RVA

This past Friday I was VERY excited to bring to life a project that I've been working on for the past four or five months. Its a proper rip of a thing called Feast Brooklyn. Basically, you pay for a ticket to a dinner at a local venue, and receive a ballot at the door for a few creative projects that need funding. Before dinner, you hear presentations from the folks on the ballot, then you eat, vote, and we award the winner with proceeds from the door.

Its a really great idea, and when I heard about it at the Festival of Ideas in NYC this spring, I knew I had to bring this project home. Along with my friend Johnny Hugel, the idea was brought to bare, and it was a huge success!

Congrats to RVAudio and Dollop Desserts, and we hope to see the Real Desire photography exhibition one day soon too! Also, a huge thank you to Quirk Gallery for hosting. Such a great space for an event like this.

As you've probably noticed from my previous posts, I'm a huge fan of idea creation, and a strong believer in the idea that if you can imagine it, theres a way to bring it to life. I've drilled this idea into my head constantly over the last few months, and with a little sweat, I have my first evidence of the truth of this concept. Here are a few photos from the event. Thanks to everyone who made this night possible, it was pretty fantastic to see this thing happen.
